Power steering gear box
Does anyone know if a gear box off an '77 C20 work on a '78 K30? Just trying to use what I got....thanks in advance.

No. 2wd and 4wd are different.

Sorry to jump in and not sure if it's the right place, but I'm working on a 74 4wd chassis for a frame swap. I have a 4wd steering box off a 85, just curious if they were the same from year to year. Thanks.

They are the same except the 74 uses compression fittings and the 85 uses O ring fittings.

They make an adapter to use one type of hose on another type of gearbox. Don't remember if it's new hose old box or other way round.
