Need a couple of measurements

Hey guys, I got a thread going on over in the suspension section but before I proceed I want to make sure I'm on the right track. I need a couple of measurements from you c10 guys if you don't mind.

I took the IFS from an 84 c10 and put in under my 1950 3100. I made template off the donor to make sure I lined up the linkage right. I was a tad off. But I made a couple of minor adjustments but I have a couple of concerns. The linkage just seems to close to the crossmember... but maybe it is supposed to be? I only made templates off frame, I thought that would be enough.

I got a couple pics here. Can you guys maybe check your clearance where you see my finger barely squeezing in there? Same on idler side? It would sure make me feel better to know if I'm right or if I need to make a little room.
