1960 Chevy Custom Sail Panels With Cab Trim- Very Nice

One Year Only 1960 Chevy Custom Cab Trim. I have both sail panels, rear cab trim and metal retainers (for upper sail panel corners). The trim has been straightened and is not 100% perfect but VERY nice. Sail panels are nice but need paint. Metal retainers are rusty but should be usable or use them as a pattern. Also have most of the screws- had to drill out a couple. It is hard to get good pictures of shiny items but here are several and if you want more then I can get more.

$1,000 picked up in Shelburn, IN or at a swap meet I am attending. I am still looking into a good way to ship trying not to get damaged.

I will be at Lima OH. Swap Meet Jan.27th and Nashville, TN swap meet Feb. 3rd. I will also be going to Clarksville, TN on Monday Jan. 25th. I am sure there will be more but only ones planned at this time.

What size pcv? To small of a diameter flexs. I am thinking 2" but not sure. Did you glue the caps on the end or tape them? Did it go through Post office or did it have to go ups? Thanks

I've shipped a bunch of these in 2" PVC using Fedex and USPS - just tape the caps and it works fine.

Re: 1960 Chevy Custom Sail Panels With Cab Trim- Very Nice

an idea: my dad used to ship chrome trim off 567 chevys all over the country , wood (and shipping) was cheaper then, but he always used a 2x4 so it wouldn't bend, and then a piece of styrafoam on top, all wrapped in cardboard...

for this, I would say a 2X4 and then inside a piece of pvc….something this rare and valuable who-ever buys it should not cut any corners w the shipping!

I will bet you could drive a truck over a piece a schedule 40 1 1/2PVC LOL yeah not really but PVC is a lot stronger then the shipping companies it has always worked very well
