71/72 Front and rear bumper Chrome
So I am finally ready for bumpers on my 1971 C-10 build, don’t want to get a bumper that will peel in a few years. Anyone have good luck with any certain brand?
Thanks in advance Trip |

I’ve had OE bumpers rechromed with good results: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...1&postcount=73

Re: 71/72 Front and rear bumper Chrome
I agree with Deadhead. Chroming the originals will be ideal, however it is also very expensive $$$$.
I have heard from some restoration shops in my area that Pauls Chrome Plating up in Pennsylvania or Tri-City Plating in Elizabethton, TN do good work, but I have not had a chance to use them yet. |

Re: 71/72 Front and rear bumper Chrome
I bought a set from Brothers about 8 years ago. Advertised as triple chrome plated, warranted against rusting/peeling for life. They still look like new. I would buy them again.
