Billet window crank and door handle adaptor
I want to build my own window cranks and door handles but I cannot find the billet type adaptors only. I have done an extensive google search, but can only find the adaptors if I purchase the cranks and handles.
Any suggestions as too where to purchase? Only need the splined adaptors |

Re: Billet window crank and door handle adaptor
These could be made by a Machine Shop.
What are your Idea's of what would attach to them? If you had someone make a Broach ? You could press your own. One off stuff is costly though. ,..../////

[QUOTE=Getter-Done;8969579]These could be made by a Machine Shop.
What are your Idea's of what would attach to them? If you had someone make a Broach ? You could press your own. One off stuff is costly though. I was planning on making the handles out of oak to match the bed and use a tapered roll pin through the handle and adaptors for attachment. Its less expensive to purchase a cheap set of billet handles and just use the adaptors rather than have them made. I'm sure there is a vendor for the adaptors, but I haven't found it yet.... |

Re: Billet window crank and door handle adaptor
It may be cheaper and easier to re-machine the shaft on the window regulator to a square and then machine your own square adapter.
