Brake Lines to Master
I am installing Frank’s upgraded master cylinder and need to change the angles to the prop valve. Seems like I have plenty of line. Can these be re-bent with the spiral wire on them?

Well the answer is maybe.
If you just need to go a short distance,and will not be adding a lot of bend, you may be able to bend them by hand. Connecting them to the block will sometimes help as there is no method to bend them close to the fitting unless they are attached. Sometimes one can slide the wire wrap out of the way and use a bender and then slide it back into position. The replacement lines Frank sells for this conversion are not even close so forget that option as you will be in the same predicament only with harder to deal with stainless lines. |

I believe it is for chaff protection.
Accelo has good information and the only thing I will add is that sometimes you can use an oversize bender on the spiral sections to help reshape the lines.
