brake booster swap

I am building a frakenstein truck. I mounted a 71 cab to a 03 frame, I have a 01 4 x 4 that i am parting out. I put the 01 stepside bed on the 03 frame. M y question is can i swap the 01 brake booster on to the 71 cab? I want to hook up the ABS and the 01 master wont mate up to the 71 booster, i would appreciate a little help, thanks.

You'd need to check the mounting pattern between the older/newer boosters to determine if it can be done w/o much fuss or if it will take fabrication effort.

The new vs the old might also require a different pedal ratio so you'd need to research what the specs are for each & start from there.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: brake booster swap

Thanks, iwas looking at the bolt pattern, but i noticed it will be very close to my shift arm also. I didnt think about pedal ratio. T he bolt pattern for the master is the same, but the recess for the masters are different, the 01 is 5/16 " bigger than the 71. I am leaning towards having it turned down, it would resolve most issues.

It's all relevant to the application. Hydroboost is great for some (many?) apps.... Not so much on others.
