Hello all, I have purchased a set of what I believe to be Jeep aluminum slots. 15x7, 6 lug. I plan on putting them on my 67 C10. My question is on the type of lug nut these wheels require. From what I gather and from the looks of the lug nut seating area they take a regular 60 degree lug nut. Anyone able to confirm that? Thanks.

Looks like the normal acorn type is used, but is the hub bore big enough?

Would check backspacing. Newer wheels will be HPO (high positive offset) The wheels may inset quite a bit.

I believe these wheels are about mid to late 70's vintage. The backspace is not ideal but I believe they will work. I mounted one tire and mocked it up, the tire moved in about 1/2 in. I searched a bit and have seen where folks are running these wheels on C10's.

those would need the tapered lug nuts
wheels that use the shouldered nuts don't have that large countersink

I concur, aluminum slots just plain look right on old trucks. I've been looking for a set ever since we got our 67 C10. For the price I paid I'll be OK with the backspace and width not quite perfect.

I drilled and tapped the wheels and used rally wheel center caps. I had a clearance issue with the brake drums. I ended up taking a die grinder to the wheels.
