hi all:
hoping someone here can offer some advice.
my passenger side door wont unlock with the key and the plunger(?) wont pull up or go down. inside handle doesnt do anything either. i have removed the inner door panel and PB Blasted everywhere i can reach. all the linkages seem to be connected, i think? i cant get very much leverage on it(cuz im old & fat) and usually working on it by myself.
anyone who has had this issue and got it to work, please let me know.

See if you can manipulate the lock if you push in on the door to relieve pressure on the pawl. Otherwise it sounds like its rusted causing it to stick. Kroil or P Blaster should eventually release the sticking parts.

i tried sliding a wedge under the door below the lock, cuz as i said, im working alone.
forgot to mention,key turn about a 1/4 way in either direction. drivers door goes about 1/2
and it works

Just for good measure, try pushing the door in from the outside as you turn the key to try and open it.
