Starter question

Need advice my starter is going out in my 71 Burban, it is a bell house mounted style can I change to a block mounted either staggered or inline
The block is a GM GoodWrench made in Mexico mid to late 80’s

If the block has the bolt holes I see no reason you couldn't. You would have to check to see if it has both sets of holes. You don't say what engine it has bit I'm presuming a 350.

You will also need to know which flywheel you have 153 tooth or 168 tooth. They take a different starter.
