Help me remove my front rotors
Help me remove the rotor from my truck. I have a 1/2 ton 4x4. I have removed the lockout and the snap ring. The sockout that I have that says it will work for my truck won't fit inside. Do I need to remove the aluminum looking thing? I will attach some pics - help me out.
Shawn The first one is before I removed anything.

Sorry about the large pics - you should have seen them before I shrunk them!! Frist time I have posted pics - next time I will use a smaller resolution. The second pic is the inside of the hub. What else do I remove to get my socket in there? I will post a pic of the socket too.

Thanks for the help Blazerman - I got a little bit further.
I got the aluminum thing off, and the nut off. The rotor still won't come off. I am sure its something easy, any ideas?

If you got the first nut off you should have a washer with a bunch of holes all the way around it, its keyed in the groove in your spindle, pull it out and then remove the other spindle nut, it will have a small tit on it that has to line up in one of the holes in the lock washer, this keeps your spindle nuts from backing themselve out.
