I know its not a chevy, but I did just sell this rig to build my 72 blazer into a crawler. The toyota would go over anything. Now time to do it in a full size.
This one is winch hill 1 at Fordyce. No winch required on my rigs.

Had a good/bad weekend the parts list is decent and one truck got left behind for 2 days till tomorrow when a tractor comes to get it out but we broke... 1 chain/barge rope/3 tow straps/3 windshields *2 were mine*/front driveshaft/tranny pan/frame in all and a tire came off wheel here's some pics from it and coal sludge is the worst stuff to mud in its unforgiving, pics show truck that we left down there a ford that got stuck on both pumpkins and us towing trucks down there and passing lively groves power plant

finally went and played, broke a pass side front axle in the first 20 seconds.. have it on video at least.. just gotta figure out how to get video from brothers facebook to my computer.. picture is where i broke.. i made it further than anyone else.. a ford with 39.5 tsl's couldnt even get into the hole without getting stuck

Glad to see you still have ol' yeller John, i see it is for sale on the Spokane Craigslist, hope things work out for you this year so you don't have to let it go, it is one of the coolest Blazers on here, we have enjoyed seeing your pics and videos of it tearing up the countryside :bowtie:

Well, I'm sad to say that a young kid just drove out of my driveway with Ol' Yeller. She's been my favorite rig (and most frustrating) for a decade now but times and priorities change. I really didn't want to sell her but......you know:waah:

Best wishes to all the cool friends I've made here! Hopefully I'll be back with a different rig some day and if Ol' Yeller's new owner finds his way here I hope you all welcome him and hopefully he keeps her on the trail.
