Got my box with a 10" and an amp installed. Now the back window rattles :metal: Ran out of red carpeting, then come to find out no one in town carries red carpet anymore

I spent the weekend moving into my new appt here in Montgomery, AL. I started my job at huyndai yesterday. I have a new respect for truck drivers after driving that 26' moving truck and car trailer for 7 hrs. I only almost killed two people b/c they couldnt wait for me to get over.

Anyone in the area?? I'm here alone for now and I dont know anyone!!

Got some new parts for the '86. Going to install an aluminum Edelbrock with a rebuilt Carter AFB carb, new valve covers and a few other goodies and hope to get the headers on soon. A little here and there. Found out only the frame is holding the front bumper on so have to find brackets for front bumper. Can not understand to save me why someone would leave the brackets off. He must have been a little  IMO

Sure will. I have had these Carter AFB Competition carburators on many of the cars I had back in the 60's and '70's . Always had good luck with them. They are good carbs. They are not in the truck at this time but will take a picture of the parts today and post them then will also take one after the install. (in the 60's) I guess you can tell I am not 21 any more. To give you a hint of my age, I came back from Viet-Nam in '66. I graduated from high school in the class of '62. That has been a few years back. Been married to the same wonderful woman for the past 41 years. Oldest daughter is 40. No, I am not 21 any more but still feel the same way I did back then about these cars and trucks. Chevy's that is. Always have been a Chevy man and always will be. I just like Chevy's. (young at heart)
