Here is for those with AC and Power Steering. 2 row inner and 1 row outer. First pulley on the inside runs off balancer to water pump and alternator, 2nd row runs from balancer to water pump and runs AC compressor, the outside add on pulley goes from balancer to power steering pump. note There are 3 different pumps, and ps pump pulley configurations.

Here is the pulley you use for truck without AC. You add the ps pulley on top of this. However most of the trucks ive parted that do not have AC still have the 2 row pulley for some reason, i have never fopund the 1 row pulley after 1968 on cars or trucks. Its the same from 58-68 on the cars and the sb trucks to '68

I am starting to think you know more about these trucks than you are telling us.LOL

Tommy

Desert Rat 08-01-2005 08:31 PM

You never know, I may know more than you? LOL. I have played with them for about 9 years, and watched my father build and deal in them for maybe 15 maybe longer. He was in the garage every single day building and working on trucks. I have watched him swap cabs, beds, motors. convert long to short box, 4x4 to 2wd Blazer conversions, big block conversions, build motors, blow up motors, throw wrenches at the wall, After he got out of them I got into them. It's hard to wheel and deal in somehting when your dad is in the same buisness, it's not good competition. Especially when you score a speedwarning at the junkyard for $25 and you want $250 for it and he knows what you paid for it-
Ive had and parted several 67-72 never any 71's for some reason, had a handful of big block burbs also. I use to specialize in brackets and pulleys (like Big Block Jim) I also bought and sold almost anything big block, dated water pumps, intakes, manifolds, carbs, anything of any value or desire.
\I do not wish to do any of that anymore. I just want to pick up a 71-72 SWB and drop on a 68 Chevy nose, a 454t400, cold ac, tach, tilt, buckets, and a posi and i'm happy. I am also considering the idea of picking up a decent 4x4 Blazer and turning it into a 2wd. It's lots of holes to drill, but i have nothing but time.

Livrat 08-01-2005 10:00 PM

Hey....... you only paid $25 for that speedwarning???? your gonna get it when I show up in Arizona.... LOL.. unless you just happen to find that Studebaker Convertible for me.. Just kidding.. See ya soon...

Desert Rat 08-01-2005 10:07 PM

ooops busted-LOL. I better keep the venomous snakes on the porch. Did i mention i have a 6' Egyptian cobra loose in the house? :buh:

Livrat 08-02-2005 12:16 AM

LOL... nope you completely forgot to mention that one!!.. Oh well.. wouldn't matter if it was 6 millimeters long or what kind of snake.. they are all the same to Deanna.. She is afraid of em all... I learned the hard way one day that it was not good to be in her way after she came across a gartner snake. Bout got run over..

Livrat 08-02-2005 12:21 AM

just in case... Arizona is an "open carry state" isnt it? And what is the fine for discharging a firearm in your city limits??.. And one more question.. How does "Leaded' grilled Egyptian cobra taste like?

Desert Rat 08-02-2005 12:55 AM

Yes its a open carry state. If you shoot it in my neigbor hood no biggie, neighbors around here don't call the cops. I don't think any on this street are here legally.
They wonder what grey haired and shaved head gringos are doing firing weapons gats in da house. I tell ya what, my house is the last one they would try to rip of. They are scared of snakes!

Micah,
Details?
You want a money order?
This sounds like what I'm looking for. I'll deal with the PS if it doesn't line up. I can't keep getting stuck on the side of the road with a snapped off alternator bracket.
Matt

Desert Rat 08-02-2005 01:19 PM

mrein. I sent you a PM

jorgensensc 08-02-2005 02:33 PM

I don't know if you have some, but I need driverside alternator brackets and the bracket not attached to the powersteering pump for a LWP 350. AM I in Luck?? (Fingers crossed)

Desert Rat 08-02-2005 04:10 PM

jorgens- all the alternator bracket setup on the driver side are for short water pump. I have one lower 69-72 alt bracket (bolts to head)$10 and a complete set from a earlier year that bolts to the side of exhaust manifold. $20 set
