threaded inserts are welded into stake pockets & than a couple allen bolts go through the piece on each end of the tailgate (where the chains use to hold it closed). also a flat washer & piece of rubber cut to shape. I dont ever open it, however, if I need to, I can buy pulling out the 2 allen bolts. John

I will confess that that body style was never my favorite, but the stance, the stripes and wheel set up look AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

how did you lower the truck and how much? what is the tire sizes? those rear tires look too big to fit in. i have a 77 stepside w/295s in back.you must have different backspacing.

TYTYTY I love the hood to. Its even cooler driving it, the reds change shades, like when turning a corner & the sun hits it differant:metal:
its got 3.5" drop spindles & the coils are chopped. the rear axle is flipped. The rear tires are 285/70/15s on 15X8s with 4" BS. I am pleased thank you for the compliments. appreciated. |
