Re: Question for the ultra-low

I just lopped off the loop on a perfectly good, brand new ECE notch. I'm adding 3" to the top of the loop, and will gusset it as well.

Quick question. From this angle it looks like the brackets are angled the wrong way. Is it me or is there a reason for that?

Looks like its easy enough to fix by unbolting the brackets and swapping sides.

Hmmm I didn't think of that. Might keep things lined up even better.

Yeah, I've decided to do a trike ;)

Actually... that's the way it came to me from ECE  . I just didn't bother to switch them around yet.

So ECE has a new triangulated setup? Sounds crazy, I'll have to try it.

I guess that answers questions about today's quality control.

Just in casy you weren't joking...

No. I bought one of their xmembers, and it came with the trailing arm mounts bolted up on the wrong sides. Only took me 15 minutes to swap them (compressor was in the basement for a project and 12 bolts are fine pitch) :whine:
