i guess these 3 bladed fans were for snow or colder states? my 86 has one, i mite change it - i gets quite warm in oz during summer...

Aaaahhhh yes, woodgrain exterior. I miss the Woody. :(

Exactly the vehicle I was thinking of when I wrote that.

I would've loved that truck for my mom. Wistful sigh.

I haven't seen to many trucks with delayed wipers.

Mine does too. But I think it has more to do with the tired wiper motor and windshield covered with overspray.

According to the build sticker on my 1973 Cheyenne Super Short/Fleet(and the VIN), it came new with a 454, th400, A/C, positraction, Factory tach, 'bright wheel covers', trim package, chrome grille, lime green and white in color. I'm not sure how 'rare' that stuff is in a shortbed, but I like to think it's special...

Is that a tic-toc-tach? Those are pretty unusual.

AM/FM/CB radios were fairly rare
Trim with ochre (yellow) inlay (2 years only)
Woodgrain exterior

the yellow or gold body mouldings are 77 only. 73-76 and 78 are all the same, the 77 carries a different part number. this is per a genuine GM parts manual.

did he forget to check the "4 wheel drive" box? if it had all that stuff and was a 4x4 that would be as good as it gets! i know some guys like the 2wd's but i like 'em with a front axle!

Not true. The 75 GMC Getleman Jim package had the gold trim as well...same as 77.
