There are unlimited wheel choices for 6 and eight lug hubs. I work with a local wheel house that can get virtually any style wheel you want in about any manufacturer you choose. Most anything that will fit on my 2000 Chevy Z71 Tahoe (six lug) or my 1998 Chevy Silverado K2500 (8 lug) will fit on my 4-5-6 Chevy C10 or C20 trucks.

I encourage people to spend their money on their wheel/tire combinations instead of spending it on hub conversions from 8 to six or 6 to five. The old notion that there are limited wheel choices for the six lug or eight lug hubs is a thing of the past.

This is the truth! I blew a set of 24.5 11R trailer duals a while back and spent several hours at Port Angeles Les Scwhab (huge Western tire retailer for you east coasters), playing with the tire/wheel computer. If you want it with 8 lugs, it's out there.

Only reason I'm going to five lugs on my truck is the fact I scored a '71 rear end for the right price, and the disc swap is cheaper.

Had I a 3/4 ton, I'd stick with the eight lugs. Cool look, if you ask me. I like the heavy duty stuff.
