Those are nice but they don't have the turn back on the driver's side one like the orignal ones to clear the mount.

Yeah, I see that now that you mention it. Never considered them so I guess I didn't look that close. Good catch!

Someone posted recently with part numbers for aftermarket ram horns manifolds made by the Dorman company. I have experience with their products, and They make a set of 2 1/2 in rams horn manifolds that should flow well, and not be a PIA

I run manifolds on my C-10, and love them. I have headers on my big block C-20 (came with them) and do not really care for them. They are full length, and fit great, no clearance issues. They seem to blow out exhaust gaskets all the time. I think I am going to try a set of copper ones next time. At some point down the road, I am going to put the manifolds back on.

They would make a engine compartment look nice though. I bet a set of the orignal ones would look as good as those coated with the chrome powder. I will work on the one I have this weekend and see how it goes.

had a set of hooker super comps on my Chevelle. BEFORE installing them I had the high temp coated black. Useda set of felpro header gaskets, and actually read the instructions. put them on ran car 20 or so, let cool and tightened the bolts again. after about 50 miles or so I tightened them one more time and never had a proble in the 4000 miles I drove this car
