My wife had our baby at 12:25 am saturday, so now there won't be any truck work for sometime... Need to get it finished up though, only interior and AC left to do pretty much.

Celebrated my Birthday on the 3rd and was suprised by my lady with the gift of a certificate to get my seats covered and some other lil add ons I want done by the interior guy...set up to take it into him at the end of the month!!! She is getting there...this summer will be tight but it does look do-able

Not yet. I had to order a head gasket and intake/exhaust gasket. The thing spun good at first and then locked up. I took off the intake and it was full of acorns, and the exhaust pipe was full of corn. dang chipmunks i guess. When I pulled the head some of the acorns got in and knocked all the carbon build up loose. Also one of the exhaust ports was mostly clogged with carbon. so all day yesterday I cleaned the head up and scraped gaskets. It should run better than it has in the last 20 years going by how nasty the heads were. Though the crankcase it surprisingly clean. I'll know as soon as I get my headgasket.

I shot my first candy job! Also got paid for the extra door in the extended cab ford. All together with a few other projects i got paid for, I pulled in almost $3000. Too bad most of it goes right back out in expenses and new tools.
