Nothing vehicle related. It's been raining off and on for days with no end in sight. I need some nice weather or a nice dry shop.

Spent the weekend at Lake Ozark, MO. Member Hot Trux rode down in the blazer with me,...and we also met up with 72BlckButy. This was the "maiden voyage" for my newly bagged blazer.

Re: What did you get done May3.2009 edition

Friday I messed around with my sound system, now the base hits a lot harder with the new sub box, and installed a new hood liner, keeps the out side of the hood a lot cooler, Saturday went for a little drive in my truck and heard a knocking sound coming from the motor so I opened up the hood didn't see any thing lose, so turned the motor off and started wiggling every thing to make sure nothing was lose and put my hand on the water pump and the pulley popped so look at bolts and they looked loose and grabbed a wrench and tightened them up and no more knocking, and then it started pouring down rain so came in and worked on my mini square body

also I found the leaf springs I took off a couple of years ago I'm going to try and add them tomorrow, right now the leafs spring almost looks straight, and about any weight in the back it starts to sag
these two are going to be added so there will be 5 leafs and no over load

Yard work seems to be the trend for this weekend. I mowed, weed whacked, and then tried to turn on the sprinkler system to find a broken pipe.

Re: What did you get done May3.2009 edition

Cleaned out and organized my shed. A good friend of mine picked up a solid 85 long bed with a 305/350,PS PB for a grand. The truck is rust free but it needs to loose the rattle can primer job. I gave my buddy links to some of the suppliers that support this site.

Re: What did you get done May3.2009 edition

Didn't do much due to the rainy weather. Did have a small car show here in the parking lot of the store, and met few board members that came down. Didn't have many cars because of the weather, but a couple of ones I hadn't seen around showed up. My younger daughter started a softball tournament Friday, but only played one game due to rain. All in all not much accomplished.

Re: What did you get done May3.2009 edition

Sat. Mounted two new tires for Mom's '69 GTO, then went to a wedding of a guy from school.
Sunday. Girlfriend woke me up and said her Grand Am would not start. Tried for spark and pulled the plugwire apart again. Fixed that and found spark. Check fuel pressure. The gauge read zero so I thought the gauge might be broke. My Saturn has 35psi at idle. Put a new fuel pump in. That problem fixed. So as long as I was working on it, I changed the oil and thermostat. Washed the car so I could find the PS leak. Also changed the oil in the mower.
Yesterday did not go the way I planned at all. At least it was nice and the car died in the driveway and not at the mall or something.

Re: What did you get done May3.2009 edition

My mom just bought some land near rocky mount NC so me and a friend took her 35 foot 5th wheel camper down with his 04 dodge 2500 with 6 inch stacks. It was a nice trip a lot of nice cars and trucks down that way and his truck got 13.4 mpg going down with a 10,400 pound 5th wheel and 23.9 coming back to NY

Been rewiring some stuff and cleaning out the fuel system, etc..
