has anyone sandblasted a set of aluminum valve covers. these are pitted and the pitting want sand out. I think I'm going to try and sandblast them and then clear coat with some engine clear coat.

I took the frame and engine to a show just to see what people thought about the truck. I got in the top 20 and every one like the frame/ engine.
But I saw I needed to make a few changes So I got a new Holley carb, new fuel line, and paint a set of valve covers, I'm still going to paint the shocks cause the yellow dont match any thing on the frame.

Let me know what you think about the engine.

It's taking longer to build the truck than I want it to but when it's done It will be done the way I want it.

Lots of little stuff seems to pop up in a build (or in life to take time away from the actual build) but there isn't a member on this board that wouldn't love to own your truck --- it looks AWESOME!!!
