well, talked to the pops today, looks like he is making sure ol Nasty is tip top shape for my return.

A buddy of ours is installing my white faced guages that i bought about 4 years ago, and installing new signal lights.

The throttle cable was messed up as well, so they replaced it. The old man says its back to running like a raped ape again. I just can't wait to get home and start working on it again.

Rick, HELL YES. I hate that the PO put this front end on it, but it does the job for now. I'll have the 68 clip by this winter. It may not be on yet, but i will have it ready to go on.

Thanks buddy. I will. Still pretty new to these trucks. Ask me something about a Ford Ranger or a 98-02 Camaro, I'll prolly be able to answer it. lol.

That will all change once i get back home. I did learn a lot on my 71. Too bad i have to sell it

well i have bben at it since 2009.... the house i was first brought home after i was born was sold when i was 4 to a guy who had a 67! ever since then i liked the 67. so i have known of there existance for al while but never had one till i was 13... june 2009

Josh nice looking truck. Doing the same to my 70 SWB with the LS1. I can't wait to get it running.

BTW, from this old Vet and the father of an Active Duty Service Member, stay safe when down range. That truck of your's has a lot of miles left for you!!!!

I am out of the service now. I stayed to finish college, and when i got out, i "had a daughter" (found out 18 months later that she wasn't mine, but that is another mess of **** you guys don't care about) out here in San Diego. I stayed for those reasons, but now that school is ALMOST done, i no longer have any reason to stay out here. After being away for 6 years, i will be glad to be home.

still no job, so that is last on the priority list. We will most likely buy a whole truck, and swap my front end on it, and sell it to recoup the costs

I'm not to into parting these old trucks out. Rather see them running down the road. Main reason i haven't changed anything on this one except the gauges since the swap
