If they are at all rusty just cut them.
I can't remember what the style of bolt is called but they have the square bit under the cap the goes into a square hole in your bed floor sheet metal. If you round out the hole in your bed it makes re-installation a real pita
If you don't have a welder....

You could cut a hole in the frame then just run the socket straight up to the nut.

Not messing with the frames structure.

Then you don't care about the floor. Grind the heads off the carriage bolts.

GMC Pauls or a GM dealer have exact replacements or stainless. Tractor supply will sell you grade 5 carriage bolts.

Or thinking about that just cut the bolts with a die grinder or angle grinder.

We went to a Nascar race last year. We had 17 people in the bed of a 3/4 ton ford pickup. Also had 4 more in the cab.

Okay the green is the bed floor, the black is the frame, the red is the bolt, and the blue is the nut. How do you get tools up into the black area underneath the blue nut? Hope this helps.

Use the warehouse to get the parts you need, or you can build them yourself.
