I have some old ones from my 79 Malibu I was going to try out. They have really thin wire though so it will probably be too soft to use if you put anything in the back. Most likely a station wagon rear spring will have a higher rate and work better for a truck. Not very common to find though.

It dropped mine right at 3 1/2" like mentioned before they are kinda squishy so no real heavyloads but the ride is great empty

I cut one coil of my front end which brought it down about 2". It looks great, but it made the ride which was already stiff, much worse. Hopefully new shocks will help, but if not I'm going to the Eibach progressive 2" springs.

I just grabbed some 2010 4 door jk springs that I'm going to try out. I will keep results posted. Going to cut front and see how good of a drop I can do for free.
