what phone you got? my htc sense has an auto rotate enable thingy.

I dig the blue. I always paint my motors white so i can spot leaks and eyeball where fasteners fall to.

I got a Samsung illusion from Verizon...at first I didn't really like it cuz it kinda looks like an old ford color but it grew on me...plus it'll match the color of the truck

Update...took my oil pan off today and put in a new oil pickup o-ring and cleaned up the pan...also painted the accessories black...saw my transmission for the first time today...2002 5.3 with 45k miles....aww man im just excited more than ever now. Now I just have to send my pcm out to get it reflashed. Anyone ever used the lt1swap guy to get ur pcm reflashed? I emailed him twice but he never replied...maybe he's busy or something

He'll get back to you eventually. Took him about a week to get back to me. I dont think he is doing harnesses, or "mail tunes" but he will flash VATS out and disable emissions. Make sure you document all the modications to the harness, all your engine and trans data...injector size etc, and send that info with your pcm. I found the $12 flat rate priority mail box was the best deal.

Update...got my pcm back from Brendan today all reflashed and ready to go. Went to the shop earlier this week and ended up painting the motor again in GM blue this time(the oil pan is going to be painted black)...also painted my exhaust manifolds and the transmission. You can see my truck just sitting there patiently waiting for her heart transplant...I'm beginning to get impatient myself...the wait is killing me!!

Update.....I put my engine back together today. Had to leave to driver side manifold off because there's a broken header bolt still in there so as soon as that's out ill put it on. Also have to clean up and paint the engine mount brackets. Everything else is on ready to go. Wiring still has to be completed.

the guy has his own site too and sells them on there...check it out
http://www.cutthroat4x4.com/catalog/...products_id=69

the green things in the pics represents the mount brackets and don't come with the plates. I thought they did when I bought mine.

UPDATE....Its been a while but progress is finally being made. Today I pulled the truck into the shop and started taking it apart. My buddy decided its best to pull the cab and front clip off together so that way we'll have plenty room to work. The cab bolts all came out no problem which was a bit shockin sice the truck has some rust but everything went smoothly except the driveshaft that was a royal PITA to get out somehow. The 350 trans is toast but the motor still runs good and is going into my buddy's truck. I left early to take the wifey out but the motor and trans should be out as im typin this. Tomorrow im going to try n clean up the frame a bit and put 5.3/4l60 in there. More pics to come...

More progress today...the motor IS IN!!! cleaned up the frame a lil bit with a wire brush n scraper, mounted the clam shell brackets on the engine n bolted the tranny on and she went in. Next is the trans crossmember, fuel system and I gotta get a cab mount kit. I've been looking under my cab and its pretty solid still but need rockers, cab corners and floor pan...also need new fenders as the passenger side fender bent when we lifted the cab...no biggie though.

Also the old 350 now resides in another truck and runs like a champ. My buddy found an old sticker on the motor when he pulled it and found that it was a remanufactured unit and was put into a 72 3/4 ton long time ago and somehow ended up in my truck...the whole time I thought the motor was original. oh well never planned on keepin the truck original anyway so who cares
