The previous owner did put in a brand new windshield last fall, but did they just put in the windshield without fixing any holes or cracks , not sure. Hopefully it doesn't look like the one in your picture. Never done anything like this so, it could be an experience that I will remember. I will check for any holes from under the dash and I will get some automotive silicone and try that first then if that doesn't work. I will try something else on the windshield.

Nope, no clue. If I would have used a good flashlight I probably could have seen the driver side from the inside, because it was into the dash a ways....

I'm wondering if my k/20 doesn't have something similar, the front floor sections just behind the toe boards rusted from the inside out and I can see older evidence of water running down the firewall. It's got an old windshield rubber in it not sure if it's original but it's hard. Hoping that's the leak.

Mine is a Southern Truck and I guess they are prone to the lower area rusting out... I honestly dont think trying to get to it from under the dash with any sort of sealant is going to fix the problem. If anything it may stop for a while and then show up even worse later.

Yeah, I think it would be impossible to fix it from under the dash.....
