I have a truck pan on my c10 now. looking to possibly bag it with the stock cross member. Will this F Body pan work for it? The one now hangs below the cross member quite a bit. Out of town or I'd go measure how much. If it will work, let me know how much and if it comes with everything I'd need to hook it up. I may be interested! |
Re: LS oil pan and laying frame

Re: LS oil pan and laying frame
Which Holley pan did you end up with? I'm installing my DMs and need to swap pans as well. Did you do the 302-1 or the 302-2?

Re: LS oil pan and laying frame
I used the Holley 302-2 pan. Check out my posts beginning with #35. I posted several pictures and comparisons. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=685258&page=2

Running the 302-2 here with Nates dropmember. Plenty of room.

Only due to my hitch safety rings hitting the ground first. As you can see there is plenty of clearance with the pan both up front and in the rear. Let me know if you have any additional questions on this pan. This also shows that the fbody pan works fine too, as others have stated. |
