The back was perfect.
It was the front that needed to come down some more. Ha.

Agreed with lolife, You should have dropped the front down more. I will post a picture of one that i work on alot, Yours would look perfect at this stance. Been trying to buy this truck for the past 2 years.

Oh believe me, I was very okay with bringing the front down, but the dropped spindles and the disk brake conversions for the right look and the great ride gets kinda pricey and I have other C/10 mouths to feed too, or this baby would be bagged already. :chevy:

Do me one favor though.
The front of the bed looks to be up 1/4" high.
Check the front bed mounts and see if there's a way to drop it enough to line the trim up.
Other than that, I think the truck looks great.

perhaps it is the cab mounts that have collapsed.

I thought that at first also, but it appears there's already a slight crown in the center where the bed meets the cab. I thought if he raised the rear of the cab any, it would exaggerate the crown even more.
I would suggest he lay a taunt string along the body lines or trim.

On second thought...
These trucks very well may have a crown in the frame for loading purposes.
I agree with you guys. Look at the mounts at the rear of the cab.
Either way, the truck is nice as it sits.

Cool find Kevin, yup Larry's truck is truly an inspiration! It looked so cool pulling that teardrop trailer. Yeah, the "Brothers Show" was awesome to say the least and the "Club" video is "off the hook", hope you can make it to our C/10 Club party on the 6th of October and call if you need any 64-66 parts (grill, front bumper) I'm building up quite a stash. ;) Keep in touch.

I just stopped into my uncle's last week to check out the pickup. It is looking sweet
(Especially with that seat that I drove for hours through the unrelenting socal sun in my air conditioning-less pickup to deliver! :whine: )

Regarding the alignment, I doubt the rear cab mounts are shot. These cabs are very heavy in front, and light in back, and I've never seen the rear cab mounts crushed. Most of the time they're in great shape. However the beds get pretty easily tweaked. Anyway, I say Just drive it!

Well, I think everybody knows the truck was sold 3 days ago to some guy on the forum, I think his name is Gizmo or some thing like that  anyway here's the last update I will perform on this truck, but never fear I'm sure Gizmo will modify it in good taste somehow ;) ........This windshield molding make's it look more complete. :) So long "Grey Goose" it's been real fun. :chevy:

No, that's it, no more trucks, it hurts too much everytime a truck leaves the nest. I got a lead on a 46' ;)
