I believe so. Whether that was a factory deal, or has been done since I'm not sure. Can't find a great deal of info about any of the Tarrytown RHD trucks.

Took the truck to a great little show today at Gawsworth Hall, ran great and lots of positive comments, but having a picnic and sitting on the tailgate highlighted an issue that needed addressing...

A few pics of the show first.

The carpark is the best bit, as if you turn up in something interesting you get to park up in the grounds of the hall.

That's my Brother in law's Lotus Esprit next to my awesome truck :)

The 'proper' display cars are on the lawn - so much fabulous stuff to see.

Always had a soft spot for an Alpine A110.

Here's a Bristol - you yanks probably haven't seen one of these before.

First issue that needs sorting - can you spot the problem?

http://www.sidewayscycles.com/i/00/16/65.jpg

Sitting on the tailgate, made it obvious that something was amiss - there's not a lot holding the back end on and one of the brackets had snapped. It had snapped before I sat on the tailgate - honest! Got my boy to get his welding kit out and zap it back together.

I then added a few more brackets to tie everything together. Plus I 'fixed' the fuel lever sender, as the wire in the rheostat had snapped. It now reads 1/4 full, instead of completely full all the time. After that it was beer and pizza time!

Need a bit of advise. I fitted a nice new rubber gaiter around the shift lever and as the rubber is so stiff, it keeps pushing the lever out of gear. Is there any way to tighten up the selector, to help keep it engaged? It's a Saginaw 3 speed.
Cheers.
