Matt, I've got four of those caps out in the garage if you want 'em. Three of them have been painted in the past, but if you were going to paint them to match your soft8's it wouldn't matter.

Aww, man! I've got 4 coming from ebay! Thanks very much, though. Maybe someone will like what i do and want to try it, or, I might lose one in the future, lol. Thanks, man!

After I got my truck running right, and got the pinion angle right, I was still having some vibrations, but they where a little unpredictable. They were most consistent in the 55-60 mph range, which to me usually means a tire balance issue. I knew that one of the weights had been knocked off by the LCA, so that was part of it. I pulled the wheels off, and realized that on the passenger side, the weight was being not only worn down, but actually pushed around the rim! i have spoken to a tire shop, and they are going to balance my tires with the weights that stick inside the rim, which will have plenty of room to clear the calipers, and also give a cleaner look.

Also, here are some pics of some interior pieces I will be recoloring. I got the panels and armrests from Todd when we took our big road trip, and the escucheons I got from my friend Chuck!

I think it will. The more I get used to the bags, the more it felt like a plain ol tire vibration. the weights on the backs of those rims weren't small, so I'd say it was causing a stir (or a shake, like "shaken, not stirred" lol). I put that bent rim I have on to check clearance, and there is plenty! I was surprised how much those old style wheel wights stick out!

I had one that was being shaved off on the stepper I had. Stickys the way to go. Just a tip, put some small pieces of masking tape at the ends of the sticky weight. I had one come off of a motorcycle wheel just after getting it all back together. Frustrating! Just until you know its stuck on good.

I was thinking about covering the whole weight with duct tape. I haeard that will keep it on.

If by "time" you mean "rim", prob not. I might end up going up to a 17" in the same wheel because I'm having trouble with the wheel weights on the backside hitting the lca. I may have it solved, but not sure yet.

I have some stickies on there, if they don't work, I found out I can balence them buy putting a few ounces of those airsoft pellets in the tires! cheap, and lasts the life of the tire!!
