I had the pop locks but the screw motors work better or our trucks so it will get them when i get that far.

PICS!!!!!!!!!!

Ok here is a pic of my saved scrap ;)
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...813_200823.jpg

Here is another deal im tossing up.. i got the HVAC box out of the truck also, controls, wiring and all if i decide to do it but im thinking of putting it in the truck but will need to work the firewall to make it look even decent and it takes up some space on the pass side feet area. I know if i can put AC in it then it who cares about foot comfort, right?? Im kind of stuck because im not sure where the engine is going to go yet (engine bay, right? ) without the mounts in. Or should i just shut up and redo the firewall and do it???

Re: project 62

Going to be too tight for the box in there so im going to stick with the vintage air that i have.

Well thanks to Billy for coming by and giving me a hand i have some pics to post for ya!!!

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...814_183334.jpg

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...817_182221.jpg

Made some engine mounts, not done yet but you get the idea ;)

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...815_102647.jpg

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...818_134753.jpg

Still have to add a gusset and make sure they are strong enough

Going to have to find some headers to work or find a build your own kit so i can make sure that they will work

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...818_111252.jpg

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...818_111226.jpg

These are the style of ones i came across that may look like they will work but i need to see them standing up verses laying down to tell..
Headers

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...818_141140.jpg

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...818_141131.jpg

Its taller than normal because the oil pan its the ground and the header issue, plus id like to be able to pull the pan if i ever need to and not have to pull the engine out..

May need to find an F body oil pan to make sure i dont set it down and crush the pan, a 1/2 in bolt may have meant game over for the pan

Sweet man !!

Man, I had some coated LS block hugger headers that would of work for you.

They were for sale here for days ... no one wanted them.

Finally sold them on CL ...

Didn't realize you had a tilt front end going .

Re: project 62

Well i started the rats nest the other night.

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...820_155605.jpg

I found a pile of wires under all of the insulation and tape!
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...820_151826.jpg

This was after the wires not needed from the ECM were removed.
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...820_162044.jpg

I am using the harness as a stand alone (just engine harness and wired into a fuse block) and this is after the C2 connector was cut off and labeled.
