Sweet!!!!! Glad you got to take the stepside out for a little fun. It makes you fall in love all over again with your truck! I need to hurry up with some work on mine so I can take it out some more. Mine's currently on a jack stand haha

Nice score on the ranger! We know you'll get it running good and giving you those MPG's you want!

That's a slick truck, man!

bad news on the Ranger... not sure if its a clutch or tranny issue yet.....

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

o no...thats not cool

thelonerife 03-11-2013 08:41 PM

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

maybe its just the linkage. We need to put a 383 in it anyway.

cubber 03-11-2013 08:46 PM

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

haha! I don't think the linkage is causing the squealing and grinding, but if there was a 383 in there, we wouldn't be able to hear it!

77ChevySharkBite 03-12-2013 08:55 AM

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Doesn't sound good hope it's the clutch if anything, tranny's can get expensive keep us updated man!

Truck is looking good Matt. Hey what is the measurement from the ground to the fender well when it is aired out?

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

I'll get it and let ya know exactly, but I know those tires are 27.2 inces tall, so I'd say 25 inches would be in the ballpark. I'll measure later on and let ya know for sure

Played around a little today. Put on some new stainless mirrors, and had a master craftsman help me with some paint work. This is not done, but here are some pics!
