Hey bud! Just make sure you get paid workers compensation and such. You got hurt on the job and they are responsible for your medical care

You'll be better off in the long run Matt. Good things are around the corner for you. I can feel it. Its better to get away from that good ole boy system anyway.

You know if you need anything I got ya covered.

Thanks, Chuck. I appreciate that, and I think you are right.

My neck was a little sore before, but it got much worse after. I went to the doctor more to prove that something was wrong, because I knew my supervisor had it out for me. I never call in sick or leave early, unless it's pretty much unbearable. I wasn't after workers comp, but the way they handled this makes me want to go after them. I thank God I was able to get out of there Monday without losing my cool. I feel like a weight has been lifted! I am gonna really try to find something I like!

OK, been doing some small stuff. New stainless tailgate chains, mirrors, door handles, and new deluxe marker lights. Also found some cool 383 emblems to match my engine color.

You got some cool finds bro!! :metal:

I like that 383 emblem that's sweet looking makes it pop on that orange really well!

Hope you get one of those jobs you like man, God's always watching out for us no matter what. You'll get something you'll love and enjoy! Stay positive even when it's hard to stay positive!

Also finished wet sanding (320 grit, then 2000), buffing and waxing my paint! It looks way better in person, the camera puts a weird glare on it. I am glad to be done, sometimes you just have to call it, lol.

Now I need to pull the seat out and soundproof (lol) the cab, put my new tail lights on, and about a million other little things, and a few bigger ones, like bolt my sway bar on.

Matt you are doing an awesome job. I love it...can't wait to see it again and hear it roar....there's just something about hearing that 383 come to life that makes me consider putting one in a future project.

I have the tailgate put away safely in my shop. It is so nice and slick that I hated to cover it with my patina paint to just have to sand it back down if I decide to do a fancy paint job next year after I do my body work. Don't worry, though, I will be using it!

Took a job today with Waste Management. There is some HR red tape, then a physical and drug screen/background check, then I'm ready! This job represents a SIGNIFICANT pay increase over my last job, plus a better schedule and benefits. Also chances to advance, but I'm super excited the position I'm starting in! God has really brought me through this in a way that I had never even imagined! He is soooo good, I can't do anything but say Praise Him!

Congrats Matt, I'm so happy for you and what God is doing in your life. I'm hoping in the next week I'll know about my promotion and I can praise what he's done(doing) in my life. Congrats again!!!!
