I am on the fence about it. I may have no choice because of my wiper kit.

What wiper kit did you buy? I have the Brother's replacement electric motor and no issues with keeping the cowl vent. Vintage Air, however, is really close. I'm making my own brackets now to mount it where I want it.

I am finally working on it again Shadow. Have to get some epoxy resin before I can start sticking it on. Need some lights and the stereo head also. Hate fibreglass. Did I say that already?

Console looks good. Is the insulation for template use? Or are you going back with mdf board?

I'm going to fibreglass right over it once I sand it to final shape. So easy to work with the foam and way less mess. Sands super fast.

Going to add a shallow tray in front of shifter, then tape it up and start fibreglassing.

Thanks Shannon, just wish you were here to give me a hand. Especially at fiberglass time!

Well, the fibreglass was not getting done by itself, so I figured I better get after it.

Could not find epoxy resin in this one horse town, so I had to tape up the foam.

Had enough glass in the shop to get the first coat on which is the most important one.

Tomorrow will be glassing up the shifter cover from the bottom, peeling out the foam and replacing wood blocks with metal. Also glassing in the stereo cradle. Will also add more layers of glass from the inside. Need to build the box for under the armrest.

Bought the wipers so long ago I forgot which kit I bought. I have the SPW kit so the vent is no problem to keep if I want.

Very nice! I came up with doing consoles just like this by myself! Kinda nice to see someone else sucssessfully doing it too. Only I didn't think of using the tape, I used a heavy tin foil. Didn't work as good as what this looks like. What tape is that? I love the whole truck. So many sweet ideas coming together shows for a good eye! Keep it up and i look forward to more progress.

Thanks Nebdrummer. The foam works so well that I wish I thought of using it the first two times. Never MDF again. The tape is an A/C tape that you can see through. It is a type of plastic like that crappy Christmas paper you buy by mistake. (You can see through it). The foam and tape just lifts right out.

Yeah but my truck would be an all expense paid "vacation" to lovely Alberta. Besides, would you not rather work for a Dumbass than a Superfly? JK lol.
