Re: UXDesigner's 1967 C10 - The Keeper
Finally completed the door window installation with all new glass. Also wired the power window regulators with 80's GM chrome power switches, vents were completely rebuilt and permanently sealed with 3M urethane since I will be installing A/C. Next up are painting the door panels and installing, Vintage Air, stereo system and cut and buff the paint once everything is complete.

Those are factory vent windows that we're refurbished? I have new aftermarket ones that leak wind noise like crazy. Do yours leak air? Truck looks great in the sun!

Just hit 450 miles, running strong! Still have door panels to paint and A/C to install.

Man that's great. I'm jealous how fast your build has gone and already clocking miles.

Re: UXDesigner's 1967 C10 - The Keeper
I had set a goal to enter the truck in this years 4th of July parade, we made it! Kids had a blast! Still logging miles and still need to get around to the A/C and door panels.

Re: UXDesigner's 1967 C10 - The Keeper
I’ve been busy and putting off the A/C install because it’s been ironically too hot in the garage to work on the truck. Now that the weather has cooled of I’ve decided to wrap up the final task on the truck but I can’t decide on the lower or upper compressor setup. I find that the more I read on the subject the more confused I get and the technology keeps changing. Computer controlled or not, low or high mount, fan control, hose types, etc... looking for advice from someone that just installed an A/C system in the past 1 - 2 months.

Re: UXDesigner's 1967 C10 - The Keeper
Installed the Kwik Performance A/C Bracket and Sanden compressor. Easy install and my intake still clears without any issues.

Re: UXDesigner's 1967 C10 - The Keeper
Still logging miles around town and just now wrapping up the A/C system. I still have door panels to paint but since the truck has been running excellent it hasn’t been a priority and I’m just enjoying the driving experience.
