Beautiful, beautiful build. My favorite to date. Every part compliments the other very, very well...and you have a 61 bubble - my favorite Chev 2dr HT.

TPI is a great choice in looks & function. Always liked the resemblance to the old fuelie units of the 50s & 60s.

You earned that big trophy & hopefully more...

Looks good! Sounds good too with crisp throttle response. Have you had it out for a drive yet?

You have done an awesome job on that trokita, I can't wait to do more mine. I did paint the inside of the cab and doors, had Ciadella make me the seat covers, visors, headliner, and door panels and it all came out beautiful. I used 59 I mpala steering wheel and it's coming along but that's all I've done so far.
Congrats on a beautiful resto and the trophies and the others to come.

This is a modern set up with that old style technology of gravity fed fluid.

still glad you went with hydros instead of bags? I'm debating on it right now for my impala. I wanna jump on freeway and drive long distance and not worry about my kidneys getting pounded LOL

Im still glad I went with hydraulics on the 48 coupe only reason im doing air suspension is because its for the old lady otherwise it would have hydraulics too lol. ive driven it to loomis ca, Stockton ca, Williams ca recently when we evacuated and to this date (knock on wood) not one problem has came up. Its no smooth ride by any means but it comes with the territory

I'm on the fence about it. I guess they both have there down falls. what was the reason you didn't want to use bags on your truck?

It looks like one of those fancy Italian coffee machines

The pictures of this truck on the road, at gas stations, and at cruise-ins and car shows if great inspiration for the rest of us to get them on the road where they belong.

I'm not a lowrider guy but this truck is just flatly BEEOOOTIFUL! THe color choice, the use of chrome is just right. Flatly a beauty queen. And a FAST one at that. (Wouldn't we have ALL wanted to date a "fast" prom queen?! Lol)

Do you EVER stop for gas and not have someone want to talk to you about the truck? I'd think it attracts a lot of attention.

Are you posting the '48 build anywhere? Is so, could you post or PM me a link? Admired your work throughout the Apache build and would enjoy the coupe build as well!

I can relate, man. I've got two 2-1/2 year old granddaughters right now. They were born 3 weeks apart to my son and daughter-in-law and my daughter and son-in-law! They're movers! Good thing they go home afterward cause they kick "Papa's" ass, lol!
