Are the 1 tons a K30 or do they have another model designation? Thanks for your help, that's about all I wanted I know. Hopefully this little bump will bring a few new pics in.

K30 up to 86, then V30 for a couple years, then V3500 until '91 when crew cabs with the straight axle front went away.

1990 gmc 3500 4x4. Just put a coat of penatrol to spruce it up a little..

Honestly I creeped your profile for more pics on that red k30. Where in Texas are you? I want to say I saw a very similar black k30 on ih10 headed toward Houston one time.

Not really. 4" and 37s locked front and rear. It's my daily driver so it's pretty mild lol

Had a set of steelies powder coated for winter/spring. Im also needing a set of K30 dana 60 front hub caps. I've only 1 set between the 2 trucks. You can send me a pm if you have a set to part with.

My dump system is for sale. I would love to keep it but the hoist is right where my future turnover ball support goes.

1984 K30 SRW, 6.2 Diesel, SM465 4 speed, 4.56 gears (Dana 60 front, GM corporate 14 bolt rear). Bought it at government auction from Rocky Mountain National Park. Have a 1st gen Cummins waiting for a swap, just need to find a Dodge HD NV4500 to go with it. I'm finding tons of GM NV 4500's and I've been told that you can upgrade them to handle the Cummins torque. Plans are to make it my towing vehicle for gooseneck and 5th wheel camper.

Here's mine.

All original 1986 K30, 20,798 original miles. Purchased new in San Antonio and spent it's entire life there. I was lucky to find it from the original owner and bring it up to Dallas where it's now been put into service as my daily driver. Factory optioned 4.56 gears makes it a dog on the highway, but I'm not changing them out. The plastic on the seat was installed by the dealer, as was a Ramsey worm drive winch in the bed. Only thing this truck is missing is the jack and hubcaps! I even have the original bill of sale from Smith Chevrolet San Antonio!
