Taken from urbandictionary.com.

"coffee can exhaust:
an exhaust system ( IF u choose to call it as such!) whose sound resembles that of lawn mower or weed whacker ALMOST if not COMPLETELY to the tee. (Usually large in size, but heinous in appearance)

-when identifying with a coffee can exhaust, during acceleration (usually a long process for such cars), u may add the words: pleeease *shift* fiiiiix *shift* meeeeeeeeee*!!"

Your truck's looking good man. I'm liking the stance on it, so freaking low. Hopefully I can get a drop on mine a little while after I get her on the road and put some miles on her and some more money in my pocket.

Re: project 62

Yeah I know what you mean. After I "finish" my '63 I'm going to set up my 94 Blazer as a better puller so that I can pull the truck to shows and up to NC and other places to cruise the mountains and hit some shows. So yeah, the money won't ever be there.

scotts62 02-05-2009 09:29 PM

Re: project 62

Thats cool, here is what i got for a puller if i should ever need one. its a 94 3/4 ton, picked it up the other day for $150 needs some odds and ends and a head gasket. ill try and take some more updated pics since i got it home.

You're getting "project poor" now too...

Re: project 62

Not a bad score.

I've got to juice up the brakes and trans, add some performance upgrades to the engine and a performance chip. Also add a trailer brake under the dash and paint the exterior because of crappy stock paint/hail damage. I could still pull a trailer with it right now though, even without those upgrades. The stock brakes are pretty weak though on mine.

hey very nice lookin truck. where did you get the tilt glass front, and was it expensive. that would be great for my part of oklahoma with all the rain and road debri would really save fenders. was it hard to fit.

It actually fit really good, since where i got it from people say that stuff doesnt fit all that well have the time. Got it from Usbody.com and 6 years ago it was $1200, i think its gone up a bit since then. Problem is if you drive on dirt roads a bunch there are no inner fenders so if you have shiny stuff under the hood you will be cleaning it a lot more often.

Motor! I gosta know!
Whatcha plans for the brain? Lighting up the tires kinda horse power? Huffer? Tunnel Ram? Tha squeeze? Got some plans of my own on my power plant 350ci engine. . . Scheaming as I write. . . Tee hee!
Gotta tear her apart anyhow. . .
Might as well light up them Wide Hide Mickey's a time or two. Like breaking in a set of shoes. .

Re: project 62

Well the plan is as of right now is a 383 with fuel injection from a 87 corvette TPI. Or if i have the money by then i just want to do a 350 with a procharger, but we'll have to see how it goes. I already have the block machined and the crank for the 383 setup. I wana keep it cruisable so if any of the other guys on here have a meet like we are around here but its out of state, im goin!! ;)
