Thanks! I had this idea a couple years back but could never find a nice set that weren't bent up and bases were all pitted so once I found a nos set I waited for the last minute to bid, I like them they are still just mocked up I need to trim the tubes an inch or so to get them to fit nicer

Re: My 1959 apache project

Sorry to impose can't find a good thread to put this in. This looked like the best. Looking to do a 4x4 conversion on a 59 gmc. I was thinking about using straight axles from a small body blazer from around 2000. Is there a better option for axle choice as far as installation and what will I be in for as far as, hanging steering components, adding a transfer case to a muncie 4spd and such. I would like to use a dana 60 front and rear, but they all look to be full size truck axles and I need a 60" axle. Is there a way to make sure the leaf springs will line up with where there suppose to go on either option. I'm not doing a chasis swap.

Fuel injection sure is nice. You get spoiled real quick. Easy to tune and perform great.

The Ramjet is a good looking set up.

Dumb question, what is the utility tray used for?

No such thing as a dumb question lol it was originally meant for the tool kit but I use it for cleaning supplies, and some tools as well flash light etc
