Yea, The "nosedown" shots were actually a LOT steeper than the pix show. For one, I was by myself and had to stop and get out to take the pix. The truck wouldnt stay in the steepest spot...even in park it would just slide down the sand. I actually had to shut it off a coulple times because of no oil pressure. It was so steep I could have stood up straight on the back of the rear seat and looked out the rear hatch. :) |

Wow, busy weekend. Worked 1/2 day Saturday morning, made the 240 mile round trip to the Moyie Mud Bog (see other thread). Sunday watched my Seahawks get destroyed by the Steelers, then spent 5 hours at the off-road park. :)

All the twisting and side hilling took its toll. I broke BOTH front HD lift shackles. The drivers side sheared and bent one bolt and the H-beam welds all failed, coming completely apart. I jacked it up and stuck a 2x4 in there just to get it home without banging on the frame. The passenger side is twisted and cracked pretty bad, one bolt is broke but still in and holding. It definitely made for a slow, interesting drive home.
