Got just a bit farther but not much. Going to Cushing today to the wifes grandpas.. but going to try and hit it hard monday and all this week to get it ready.

I rebuilt the rearend with new bearings through out and tossed in a locker and a 3.80 ratio just for fun ;)

Hey superfly, I have a roll of grounding strap if you need some. Just cut it how long you want it and crimp some ends on. You can go from the body to the frame, the engine to the frame and the engine to the body. Let me know if you want some.

Gage, he is running the stock cross member up front with 2 1/2" drop spindles and 2 lower links and a wishbone in the rear, with air all around, of course;)

I have a grounding kit that grounds truck from front to back, but heck yeah ill take a bit of it for a couple more! Never hurts to have more grounds, just the problems of not having enough :lol:

Thanks, I made it as if it had a 2.5 Z. But other than that the front crossmember mounting is all the same as normal. Is that what you were talking about?

Well now that it comes up, if you have the factory crossmember and engine mounts at the original height but you lowered the body, how close does it put the engine to the hood?
