Nothing inside yet!
I did find a piece of metal in the glovebox. Looks like a bracket of some sort. Not sure what it goes to. Might be battery. In the bed I found Dirt, leaves, wood ( from the bed ) wood covering the wholes from the missing wood in the bed. A couple of pop cans and an old fuel filter.

knife
I found a fish filliting knife down in the pocket in the front fender. still sharp but rusty...
:canada: :gmc: |
The military police found a dime bag in the drivers side cab corner once...hence the previouse owner's nick name.
I think he smoked every time he worked on it. If you were to work on it you would understand why I suspect this. |
after cutting through alll the bondo on the cab corner, i found the previous owner was a busch lite drinker........he had cut the top and bottom off the can and slit it down the side in order to get it to help hold the bondo he was putting in.........now i can almost fit both fists through the hole lol.........oh i found some wrenches behind the battery and a safety belt held together by clothes pins............yeah that would have worked lol

since the truck was my parents truck before me....hmm about 89 cents under the floor padding, a pencil, about 1/2 gone, and my dads machette (the long azz knife) where the jack on the right side was suppost to be.. I asked my dad and he said i dont need a jack, the tire iron was to small, so he put the knife in there ((hmm i was kinda speachless after that, for a bit))

so far i've found a ton of crap. a maybe 12" long piece of 8x8 lumber was in the front fender pocket (under where aux battery would go), and a piece of wood trim complete with nails in it, along with a lead pipe and a container of after bite (makes bug bite itch go away). Inside, I found the little build tag that goes on the seat, a glass jar of bar's leaks, an old pull top can of prestone antifreeze, a can of 10w30, a glass jar with 3 fuel filters in it, a 1973 map of minnesota, and a sticker from the LeSeur county fair (in minnesota), and a strange piece of wire that has a loop on one end (like you'd stick your finger in it) and the other end is hooked. There was also about 30 feet of spare 18 ga. wire wrapped around the tranny shifter, and about 30 more feet masking taped to the back of the dash.

i've never seen an old peel top beer or pop can, I'm a little too young for that...all of 'em I've seen are the usual pop and click variety. scratch that, I have seen some of those old cans...i used to work a recycling center in scouts, and some weird people would bring those in by the truckload...makes you wonder where they've kept 'em all these years? |
i found a cresent wrench and a playboy magazine from 1984 (coincidentaly the year i was born) under the seat
|
I found ...
... a few pics of the p.o. girlfriend in her birthday suit (that means naked, for us slow people... lol) in one of my trucks. Those might be good for something some day. lol ... Other than than, just some misc tools, empty oil bottles, misc broken parts. Just the ussual stuff. oh, and the last truck I got probably had abt 100 pencils and pens everywhere. Thought that was strange.

lets see those pics!;)

A Huge Nail Puller, pair of knee pads, eight pairs of unused rubber gloves, two axe handles, a hammer, two slotted screwdrivers, a 9/16 wrench, a new fuel pump, a brake lamp flasher, some other flasher, several gaskets, one spring jacket, half of a winter jacket, two stocking caps, a baseball bat, about ninety feet of various rope, a length of chain about 2', three spare tires, a five gallon pail, some safety goggles, and I can't remember anything else... the strangest part is that aside from the bucket, and tires, all of this stuff was hidden ( under stuff, behind stuff, etc). hey stateamind, let's see those pitures! |
I found a kISS ALIVE 8-track where the jack goes, about five bucks in change all over the place, some 22 shells and a PENTHOUSE from 1979 in the back of the seat. Wait until the guy replys about the dildo he found. its a funny story.
