First thing we had to do was get rid of the camper. Four pickup loads of garbage and one load scrap aluminum later.

Then we had to cut 30" out of the frame to get back down to the 127" wheelbase. We also cut a couple feet off the back of the frame.

Then we were at the junk yard getting some other parts and walked by a 71 dump and noticed it was a small window. We cut the section out and here are some pics of it welded in, the start of body work and some primer.

We had these tool boxes in the garage for a while with the thought of using them for tool storage and they happened to be the right size.

Thanks. I'm not sure how much work the truck is going to do but it will be a nice driver and ready to haul when necessary.

That Flat bed looks Awesome!!!
I like that rear sliding window.
This is Probably the direction I will go with my Truck.
I have a C30 157 WB with a small back glass.

Here are some pictures I took today. It's mostly back together. The paint job came out good, far from perfect but great for a driver.
Before we installed the windshield we repainted the top of the dash and dash pad.
We pulled the inner fenders before it was painted and cleaned up the engine bay (it was nasty). Both inner fenders had a little rust so instead of having to sandblast/repair them we bought new ones.
We are going to go back and paint the inside of the doors and door jams.

Thank you all, it's definitely came along way.

Saturday we removed the seat and sprayed the floor with SEM Rock-it Liner.
It sprayed out easy and gave us the texture we wanted. Pictures after it cured and with the seat installed.
