LS Swap Air Cleaner...
So for those of you who have done LS swaps, preferably with car intake, what did you use for your cold air intake?

Re: LS Swap Air Cleaner...
on my 55 i used about 8' of aluminum piping from the turbo with the filter mounted to that :)
on a serious note there are plenty of options, you can piece your own together with components from siliconeintakes.com or you can try and make something work with a kit from k&n or the like thats vehicle specific. On my DD (94 Tahoe) i bought a 99-07 gmc truck CAI from spectre then hacked it up to work. |

Get a k&n and a cheap Silverado intake for the tube off eBay, only 4" I could find. I used 2

Engine with intake pic. I ended up buying more couplers to replace the red/orange for black on Amazon. I also fabricated my air intake bracket out of some 1"X1/8" aluminum flat bar to help support everything.

That's 2 Silverado tubes, but I cut one into 3 pieces so that I could extend over behind the headlight, I have some coil covers done too just need to paint them then it will look like I want. Also have red to cover all the hoses. Many it will be done next week for new pics. Thanks for the compliment...
