Routing of emergency brake cables
My 68 gmc came originally with a manual trans behind the v6. I have removed the bellhousing crossmember and installed an auto crossmember. Do the cables for the emergency brakes route under or through/over the auto crossmember?
It would appear that there would be too much interference if they ran under... I figured I better check to be sure. thanks in advance! :gmc: |
do not know if it well help but there pictures of the routing for a TH400 in this thread.

Anyone ever seen a way to apply the brakes and then lock the hydraulics, that is how my 4 wheeler works. That would be good E-Brake without all the cables and can you get a truck inspected without e-brakes.

Will not pass in TX on my 69 they were not adjusted right and would not hold if you gave it gas they faild me I had to adjust it. It may have been the place that inspected it though.
