I dropped mine four inches with coils and had to get an adjustable track bar and shock relocating kit.

With a 6 inch drop you'll need to relocate the shock mount and install shocks for the lowered stance. You'll aslo need an adjustable panhard bar or kit of some type. You can get by without a frame notch but you'll probably need to shave down the rear bump stops to give the rear end a little extra travel. I've never used the progressive type aftermarket bump stops but they might be the best way to go if you have problems with bottoming out.

I run the whole ECE 6 inch rear kit with coils, super track bar shock relocators, and KYB shocks.

It is awesome. Hauls heavy loads without bottoming out, yet still rides real well.
