Shorty Headers

Got a set of brand new shorty headers, no need for them since i'm going with long tubes.

$50

gets you two shorty headers, new reducers to 2.25", and two new 31" glasspacks.

Would they happen to have a place for an O2 sensor? If so, I'm interested.

1BadSS 07-25-2004 05:07 PM

You can get the reducers for $10 from autozone that have oxygen sensor fittings that will fit on these headers.

Part #10105

I'll PM you.

Part #10105

on the autozone web site this part# comes back as:
Painless Performance 12 Circuit Jeep Harness (1974 & earlier)?????
are you sure about that #?

1BadSS 07-25-2004 07:05 PM

I got these reducers from autozone, p.n 10005, and on the box p.n 10105 is what you need. Found the part at summits website, enough tho you should be able to order them when you gfo into an autozone store.

BIG-10105 is the summit number

Autozone doesnt even use the same part numbers for the reduces that the company does.

Where are you located?

Put me in line for the headers, just in case the guys ahead of me drop out. Have they been run any? Are there any clearance issues with our trucks? Do you have any pics? Are they block huggers? Thanks, .....Jerry

They are currently installed on my 69 c10 with a 283. They clear everything just fine, and it looks like room to spare, thats why i'm going to longtube headers. These look like they've never been fired, havent even had the paint on them cooled at all. They look to be pretty close to the block to me, i'd say closer than the longtubes that I own. Here's a picture... its not the best but its what I have for now.

Alright, will do. I just climbed back out from under the truck, spent a good 6 hours fixing the PO's ****ups.... it was quite fun to say the least :) I reckon i'm going to drop my headers in tomorrow so these others will have to come out.

Bamm 07-26-2004 03:46 PM

RON WOODGEARD 07-26-2004 07:47 PM

here's a picture of the headers I have for sale, and the longtubes (sorta rusty) that i'm using... I dont quite think they are shorties now...

Bamm 07-26-2004 09:04 PM

Yeah, they don't quite look like shorties. I'm looking for some shorty headers, preferably some block huggers angled (45 degree?) or some 3/4 chevelle headers. Thanks anyway, good luck with the sale. Next in line...........Jerry
