after market inner fender not fiting
 
I am puting on a used GM fender and an after market inner fender they are not lillining up right. Seams like it is not om the front

Taiwan stuff don't fit most of the time. Some adjustments may be neccessary. I like the Unibit, step-type drill bit for reaming mounting holes. Brian

Try this and see if it helps, go to the hardware store and buy the same dia. bolts and tpi (threads per inch) as the stock ones but longer (around 1 1/2'' or 2'' long) start at the middle bolt and just get it started (a couple turns) and then alternate the long ones from the hardware store and your stock ones. I've used this method before on different applications and it usually works great. Just make sure you replace the long bolts when the inner fender is close enough for the remaining stock bolts. Doug

You will need a punch or screwdriver to make it line up as well. I takes patience and leverage. It may be you wind up opening up a hole or two as well.
