Check Timing ?

How do I set the timing on my 98 GMC 5.7 ? When I had the intake gaskets replaced :) they left the distrubutor loose. Thanks for the help:)

I just did that on my 95. there is some good info here, yours will be a little diff but you have to find the timing conector from the computer and disconnect it to set the timming.once you do that reconnect and clear the trouble code. Good Luck.BTW welcome to the board.
